Quality is good - but the ink runs out too fast

I just wish they would make the ink so that it lasts a little longer. Barely a couple hundred pages later and I already need another cartridge...? Clearly they are just seeding themselves for many repeat purchases by their customers. It doesn't make me a big fan of the Canon company.
