Good ink, high cost per print
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Canon makes good ink, but the cost for the ink itself is VERY high - a fact that's exacerbated by my printer (a Canon MG8220) that is programmed to WASTE ink due to frequent and unnecessary "cleanings" that can't be stopped or bypassed; I estimate that the number of prints is only about a quarter of what's advertised. Don't get me wrong, I like the print quality - but the cost due to ink waste means I probably won't buy another Canon printer.
