This is not the first time I buy the Canon - PG-240 XL Ink Cartridge - Pigment Black and you know why? It does the job. My son is in College and my niece a senior in High School. Both they print a bunch of papers and I rarely replace the cartridge. I don't even remember when I bought the color one. Definitely the best product ever for my Canon MG 3120!

Works best because of the printer cartride code is consistent with the manufacturers cartridge code. Therefore your printer recognize the cartridge. However, when you use the manufacturer's cartridge, your printer will show low ink when in fact, it is not, also, you cannot receive or sent a fax until you either change the cartridge or replace the cartridge. prefer the XXL model due to the amount of ink. Otherwise, it works great.

Can't go wrong with factory ink, as expensive as it is. Easy to replace and a fairly good value.
