ink runs out too quickly

Seems waterproof once dry

A bit expensive, the ink is high quality and seems waterproof once dry --even on plain paper it doesn't smudge or run with water spills. ** TIP ** to save on color inks: don't select "Grayscale Printing" in the print preference box (Win7) --that still drains color inks mixed together for grayscale, really! Instead, under the "Maintenance" tab & "Ink Cartridge Settings" is an option to use the Black Cartridge only. It will nag you every time you print, but will actually print using only the black ink, and let you save the color inks for when you actually need color printouts.

this ink makes black and white pictures so sharp

Better quality ink than refills
