    I pair this with the XL Combo Pack, then two XL black cartridges will last just about as long as the one XL color cartridge. I only use authentic Canon ink. The Best Buy ink is always fresh and not out of date.

    I've used refilled cartridges and other brands in my Canon printer. They were cheaper than the Canon brand. I wasn't happy with the results: smudges, extra head cleaning, etc. For the extra page or two that I saved, it wasn't worth it. Switched back to the Canon brand and haven't had an issue.

    They work. I'm happy with my Canon printer and their ink works. I use the double or triple size since it costs less per page. I get the standard size for for my mother in law since she rarely prints.
