    The ink cartridges for the Canon printer work o.k., but they are over-priced. I was able to purchase a set at Best Buy for a decent price (Black Friday price) but I have always felt somewhat ripped off by the prices of ink-jet cartridges in general -- not just Canon but other brands as well. In the past I tried refills, but they are a bit difficult to locate.

    I am assuming the formula hasn't changed, but right after I replaced the ink, our printer died. We'd had it for 7 years, so I guess in this day of disposable printers, that is pretty good.

    Need to replace ink when it runs out. This system has worked well for us for 5 years. Best for photos, but not for high volume printing of text. Ink is ok, but would use a different system. It is good for photos and normal house printing.
