It works. it is not cheap. Not aware of other choices for purchasing lower priced ink that does the job

Easy to set up and works fine. It does turn off when not in use so I can't print from another room. But that means it is not using electric all the time either. I love the large ink tanks.

Black color is usually over used. Not all blend well with older colors like this one...

The light on the ink cartage tell me that the cartage is installed right and working.

Bought this as a backup for the starter tank in the printer. The sales clerk informed me that the tanks in the printers were just starter tanks and contained less ink than the replacement. Most of my work is scan/print of documents. Don't want to run out when I really need it.

The cartridge was easy to install. The print quality is very good.

I've had no complaints with the Canon ink. I works well and doesn't clog or run. It does what I expect it to. Yes, it's more expensive than aftermarket ink but you don't get any of the headaches and surprises either.

This is my first Canon printer. After using the ink that came with the printer I purchased my first black ink. As good as this ink looks on printed photos and how long it lasted I expected to pay more than I did. I would recommend this to any one using using it moderately.

Another tank of ink from Canon. It is the best but I wish it lasted a bit longer.
