    If you run a lot of copies, copied in black only this cartridge serves the purpose, Bold black copies until cartridge is empty.

    Not much you can say about the ink. I am told that leaving the printer on conserves ink so that's what I do. Print and Photo's are excellent.

    It good ink but a little on the pricy side. I find that the xl Carridge usually last longer.

    I've had problems in the past with off-brand or recycled ink cartridges. I am willing to pay more to get original equipment.

    I always buy my cannon printer cartridges at Bestbuy. Occasionally, they are on sale and the quality can' t be beat.

    I purchased a similar Canon printer last year after the other pooped out. The MG6620 printer works even better. The Pictures are of high quality, but the ink cartridges are very pricey.

    Cost aside (I wish printer cartridges weren't so expensive), this is a good cartridge and I'm printing most everything in grayscale to avoid having to buy multiple color cartridges.

    I really like the ease of changing this ink cartridge. I feel it's a little expensive for the amount of printing it can do. Also, the print quality deteriorates during the last fourth of ink volume.
