Have always used Canon ink in Canon printer for quality photos and docs, but really, does it have to cost this much for so little product? When my Canon dies (history says 4yrs) I will move on to something else.

like pretty much any ink product you'll pay more than you should for it; thats not a shot against Best Buy, it's just the way the print game works out. Still, quick to install and good to have it available locally

I'll only buy original ink. This is my second Canon printer. First one had for 11 years. Those ink cartridges lasted longer than the new models available today. The new cartridges are more expensive but I'll prefer best buy prices and prompt service.

The advantage with individual color tanks is that you only have to replace what you are out of and not replace an expensive three color cartridge just because you ran out on one color but the two others still have ink supply.

Best Buy's prices are comparable to other retailers. It would be nice if they were to offer more of the XL tanks (same size tank with more ink). This would cut down on travel to purchase, fewer changes and less recycling.

I bought a cheap no-name brand for a Canon toner cartridge on Amazon once, and it was no good, had to return it. So I try to stick with genuine Canon ink/toner for the important stuff.

I've spent much more on ink cartridges than I paid for printer. However, the consistent quality and performance of Canon products has never disappointed me.

Can't review because it didn't fit my printer after an associate helped me pick this one. Couldn't get an exchange of refund because I opened the package. Had to purchase new ink cartridges that fit my printer.

I found that after the My Best Buy discount, I could buy the factory replacement cartridge at Best Buy for the same price I was paying for refurbished cartridges somewhere else.

I always order my printer ink from Best Buy. It comes quickly, don't have to worry about it being too old, description ensures I get the right thing.
