The Best Black Printer Ink Available..FROM ANYONE!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been around long enough to use many of the better color photo printers both past and present. In the past ,HP's PhotoSmart line was hard to beat. That's been changed by CANON with their PIXMA line of inkjet printers and their AWESOME line of printer inks.Canon's black ink possibly has the best color density & gradient levels currently available(my opinion,of course!) from ANY MANUFACTURER..BAR NONE !! Canon Black 251 not only has great coverage, but the XL version also provides almost twice the pages printed than Canon's standard 251 Black cartridge ...AND at a MUCH LOWER COST THAN YOU WOULD EXPECT. I found the cost of the HIGH YIELD 251XL Black cartridge was about $23 compared to the 251 Black standard cartridge @ about $14-$15. To me,penny pincher that I am, it's a NO BRAINER to get approximately 600 total pages printed for about $23 (XL version) compared to about 300 pages printed for $14-$15 (the standard 251 BLACK cartridge). I'm sure that you'll agree about the ink's quality. NOT TO MENTION THE EXTRA VALUE YOU WILL FIND FROM THE 251XL CARTRIDGE!! Like the "old man" said..."TRY IT... YOU'LL LIKE IT"(at least as much as I have..again,my opinion) !!! foolishfotoshooter

Good quality, pricy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The XL cartridges are the way to go, fitting in the same slot as the regular size in your Canon printer, but giving you extra ink for not much extra cost. Unfortunately, the overall cost of this series of Canon cartridges can be pretty high. I have been pleased with the print results, so it is worth the price. The installation is easy thanks to their push tab design, and the lights on the cartridges tell you that it's snapped in good. I would buy again.

Perfect Go-To Place!

Works as intended
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really, what is there to say about ink jet cartridges? Unless you're going to try to cheap out and buy refill kits or so-called compatible cartridges (and I've been down both of those roads before and found both of them to yield poor results), you have to buy the manufacturer's cartridges that are designed for your printer. These XL cartridges, of course, have a greater ink content than their standard counterpart. I suppose that if you very seldom use your printer, it would be best to buy the standard yield cartridge just in case the cartridge head gets clogged/dried out due to infrequent use. If you use your printer on a somewhat regular basis, however, it's more economical to buy the higher capacity cartridges.

It's like magic!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Magically turn a blank piece of paper into a picture, a book or letter. That's right! All you need is this ink cartridge and a canon printer that will work cohesively and you too can be a printer pro!

only ink to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cartridge is easy to install and lasts a long time. Also great quality printing. I guess that's the printer, Canon MG5420, which I also bought at Best Buy, and genuine Canon ink cartridges.

XL lasts longer!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great bang for my buck! I used to go with the regular size ink cartridge it does cost less but if you see on the long run if you buy the XL version you'll get more out it.

Great product
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect for my Canon printer. I've been buying these for years and they last and never dry out prematurely. I also like that you can purchase just the black without having to buy the set with other colors that I never use. Highly recommend.

Good ink. never any clogging. Longer life wanted.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have used this ink many times over the life of my existing printer. It is convenient to load and unload. I have never experienced any smudges or clogging from or with this cartridge. The ink is good quality and the cartridges perform as expected. I do feel that this cartridge gets used up very fast for the price. A longer life or lower price would be very much appreciated.

Good Ink Cartridge
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have found, at least for my printer which is a Canon model, that their ink works far better than some generic brands I have tired. They tended to clog up my printer. The 251 cartridges work well.

Good ink
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works great for my Canon MX922 printer. We always buy Name Brand ink cartridges. And I buy the individual ink cartridges, because when you buy them by the Value Pack, you'll end up with a lot of extra Black cartridges. That's why I do not buy these cartridges by the pack. Always, you'll want to the "X" ones. That is, the CLI-251 BK-XL, CLI-251 C-XL, CLI-251 PGBK-XL, CLI-251 M-XL, CLI-251 Y-XL, CLI-251 GY-XL.
