Fits our printer perfectly. Not sure if this cartridge is really necessary since the other cartridges should get every color needed but machine came with this extra cartridge so felt better including it.

Really like my Canon Pixma printer and the quality of the ink.

economical and easy to install vivid color and print looks great

I bought this cartridge for my Canon TS 9020 inkjet printer. This printer is a real workhorse on our home network and seems to be reasonable frugal on ink use as long as I don't print a lot of large photos. Competitive price at my local BB store also.

i LIKE THE FACT THAT THIS WAS AVAILABLE IN A LARGER CARTRIDGE, BUT I ALSO LIKE THAT IT IS NOT PART OF THE COMBO PACK. THIS CARTRIDGE LASTS MUCH LONGER THAN THE OTHERS, SO IT WOULD BE A WASTE IF IT WAS INCLUDED IN THE COMBO PACK.

Only time will tell if the xl version is worth the price.

The gray ink lasts a long time when printing pictures.

My new printer was doing a fantastic job of printing pictures until this cartridge needed to be replaced. I stopped, changed the cartridge, then printed more pictures, but they're now coming out wet and distorted. Maybe it's just too humid today, will try again another time.

The Gray CLI-271 XL cartridge is the only one missing from Canon's Special Edition 270/271 5-Pack. However, the gray XL single cartridge is sold by Best Buy at a competitive price and comes with free 2-day shipping.

Ink can be expensive. But there are no two ways around it. Best off buying the original brand name inks. Others might seem like a good deal, but they can clog your print head and the consistency is often off.

This series of Canon ink needs to be expanded for in-store purchase. You stock two (2) colors only - yellow and gray. What is the rationale, as these are great products!

I really don't understand why the grey ink must be purchased individually, rather than in packs like the others, but the XL size means I don't have to buy it as often.

This ink cartridge is recommended for our printer, and it works as advertised. The images and text come out clean and crisp every time. I will definitely buy again.

The single gray ink cartridge has to be purchased as a single unit because it is not one of the colors that comes in the multi-pack cartridges.

I love my Canon all in one! It prints fast and I only need to replace the color cartridge that is empty, not all of them, which makes this cost effective!
