One of the most important factors was cost of the replacement cartridges. Canon cartridges are are reasonably priced, and provide consistently good quality, whether printing document or photos.

It's a printer cartridge

Still, it's one of my biggest office expenses and I dread having to print anything substantial lest the cartridge run out. I hope they will someday make a reasonably priced cartridge that really lasts.
