Cost more/leak like replacement cartridges
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought OEM cartridges, at significantly higher cost than compatible cartridges, because I assumed they wouldn't leak. I was wrong. A few leaked as I was replacing them. Very messy, and extremely difficult to get off my hands (it actually took several days to wash the ink off). When I called Canon, they were very apologetic, tried to be helpful in getting the ink off (although they didn't have many good ideas other than using cold water), and did send me a complete set (5) cartridges at no charge.

WOW! Canon printers drink ink.

I had to buy this last package because I haven't had time to shop for a new printer that doesn't drink ink. And, of course, the price goes up each time I buy this. I gave it 2 stars because it does print clean and bright, but I hate to even try to figure out how much I pay per sheet. Best Buy gave great drive up service during the pandemic shutdown, but alas, the ink is expensive and my printer will just drain these too.

Recommend if this brand is popular, maybe adjust the store repurchase date so you can keep them instock.

too expensive, too often
