Value and convenience

The 4 pack is convenient if you run low on ink, however I don't always need every cartridge included. I would prefer to buy only the ones I need instead of spending more money than necessary.

Great Print Quality--Too Expensive/Runs Out

I am now trying the same cartridges but in high yield to see if they are worth the extra cost. Clearly, Canon makes more money on the cartridges than they do on the sale price of the printer.

The black cartridge in this package is for pictures. The larger black cartridge is for normal printing and is separate. However, there is a bundle available with the larger black cartridge.
