I've had my Canon Pixma printer for a couple of years or so. I love the print quality. I wouldn't use anything other than Canon printer inks in it. The cost might be a bit more but the print quality, especially for photos, is well worth it.

The cartridges work great. Just get the sense that they don't just run out when the ink does, but they seem to go "out" after I've had them in there "too" long, as they make for more printing when they are fairly new, then fade quickly when I rely on them a year later...and have to order again.

What I like about Canon ink is the pigment is strong in it. Thus sharp color in both photos and print. I have tried generic ink in my former printers even tried refilling cartridges to save money. Better to spend the money on the brand attached to the printer. Even if it costs a little more.

There is a temptation to buy the cheaper "refills, refurbished, after-market" ... whatever you want to call it .... but DON"T! Best Buy gives the best price available for the Canon cartridges ... the only way to go if you want to maintain the integrity of your machine and definitely if you are printing photography.

The ink is fantastic, however one problem I've noticed is that if you don't use it frequently the cartridges tend to tell your printer they are no good anymore. They do usually still work just fine however. I got it on sale at BB so it was a little cheaper than other stores, but it is pricey no matter where you go.

I have tried various way to save money on ink with the various printers over the years. Refill kits, refurbished, and non OEM. Non of these gave me consistent quality like OEM cartridges did. And Best Buy has great deal on OEM ink. Sales, discounts to members and money for turning in your old ink cartridges.

Ink works well. The price is good. Will purchase again when need to.

I have had my Canon MX922 printer for 3 years now and it works just as well as the first day. I attribute a lot of the printer's performance to the ink that I have used. The Canon 251 ink flows smoothly and gives me good quality documents and photos (when printed on glossy photo paper).

I've only used this product for a short while since my Canon printer is rather new. As is all printers, the price of the printer is very reasonable, but the cost of refill cartridges seems expensive. However, these cartridges area easy to install and provide rich colors. Only one needs to be replaced at a time where some printers require all cartridges to be replaced when one is empty.
