    My Canon TS9120 printer uses both BK and PGBK ink cartridges. I have noticed that both of the black ink cartridges have been consumed at a much slower rate then the Yellow, Cyan, and Magenta colors. It means that I don't have to replenish the black cartridges as quickly as the other colors.

    I have automatic renewal set up on my Cannon printer, which detects when my ink is low and automatically places an order for a replacement that arrives well before I run out of ink. This works great for me.
