Been a great printer. Not the easiest to set up but with some help I could do it.

This is one heavy duty machine! Probably overkill for my home office, but I'm tired if ink jets. So far, so good.

Works well. Installation of software was a challenge. I believe it was a problem with the disk.

Forget buying ink....this printer is worth it weight in gold just for the savings over ink!!!

Overall it is a great multi-function printer. The set up directions are a little hard to follow, but not impossible.

This printer is very slow when it does work. Most of the time it doesn’t work. It goes into sleep mode then usually needs reset to get it to print and that still doesn’t always work. It doesn’t matter if we are printing from the iPhones or the MacBook there is always a struggle to get it to print. It’s been like this since we bought it

This is my second Canon laser purchase after getting an all-in-one black only printer for my senior mom last Christmas (2016). I needed an all-in-one but with color. I work from home frequently, but do not have a home business, and my kids have needs. I needed high quality printing with the assurance of no streaks for resumes. This was out of the box perfection. Two weeks later, still no problems. Also, the set up was easy - just follow the directions provided. My only mistake related to their term "network". This applies to your home wifi as well. I said no to network since I thought it was for small office business or home networks, but it also applies to wifi setup. So, I had to redo that part. Say "yes" to network setup during initialization. I had to search for it in all the menu screens to find that setup screen again and it took me awhile to find it. Nice that Canon provides some starter laser ink with the printer. As for Canon quality, I stuck with them because my mom's printer is a year old and has had zero issues. I read reviews from other printers I considered and decided to stay with Canon even though slightly more expensive for the same features. Further, I finally switched from an inkjet because I was tired of spending money on dried up unused inkjet cartridges which ultimately ruined a very good inkjet all-in-one printer. (I suggest you make the break to laser, especially if you are somewhat of an infrequent person who prints so you can avoid going through the expense of in cartridges drying up so much.) Thanks again Canon for keeping up your quality) - and to Best Buy for delivering as promised and having the best price in the marketplace.

Stocking this printer for a few years now finally broke down and bought it and love it
