I love the softness of the background. I shoot a 6D and did not face focus issues. Very fast lens. I only used for portrait and I am very satisfied.

I love this lens however there are some things that bug me about it a little. The worst thing about it is the chromatic aboration. It can be quite noticeable. Though stopping the lens down does diminish this. It is also a little soft when wide open. For me, this is something that I actually kind of like depending on what I am shooting. And it does sharpen up quite a bit when stopped down. The minimum focus distance could also be better. That is to say that you can only get so close to your subject. And lastly it is just unreasonably expensive. But the bokeh is just so amazing on this lens and the image quality and character that it produces that I just really enjoy this lens.

I am a wedding photographer and this is by far my favorite lens! It barely leaves my camera - perfect focal length for portraits and love the softness at 1.2 for detail photos!

This is one of the best lenses I own. Wanted a fast lens for weddings in low light/natural light. This gives you what you need.

The price may scare you, but it's an investment you won't regret making. This lens is perfect for portrait or product photographers. I would 10/10 recommend.

This is a must have universal lens to go into your camera bag! Canon have great lenses. Light weight and great quality.

AMAZING lens! I had the 50mm 1.4, and this literally blows it out of the park. MY pictures are so much sharper.

My wife is a photographer and so I got her this lens to replace her Signa Art 50 and she has loved it. Says it is way sharper than the Sigma and she is very happy
