Great lens, really easy to use and swap out on my cannon rebel t3i

This has to be the best starting lens for any amateur photographer. It's well rounded. I'm not going into any further detail as what I have to say about it has been said on multiple occasions. Wealth worth the investment.

The lens works great and performs exactly as expected. It is not made terribly strong, so it should be handled with care. As long as a person is fragile with it, it should withstand any use that it is put through.

I am a newbie to dslr. this is the first macro lens that i have. so far i'm not liking the auto-focus is so slow and it doesn't have image stabilizer. I have shaky hands that's why i think image stabilizer is really important. I always get blurry photo with this lens. i am stilling learning how to get to use this lens for better picture.

I bought this lens because after reading reviews about it I knew I must have it! It's great for up close photos as well as distant. I have a few different lenses, but this one stays on my camera most of the time.

Haven't found any downside to this lens. However, I wish I had spent the extra money and purchased the 50mm f1.4. Costs more, but would be worth every penny if you plan to take lots of pictures.

This lense is good for indoor photographing, good performance at out-forcusing and close-up. I could get great pictures on a little baby and food.

The nifty-fifty is a good low cost prime lens for a budget minded photographer. Plastic body, but if used with care will be a great addition for low light, portrait, close-up and still shots.

This lens is exactly what I was looking for. I am able to focus on an object or person and blur the background or foreground. I bought a new camera just to be able to buy this lens. I love it!

The 50mm f/1.8 is great for shooting video. Not a bad lens to have in your bag if you want a lens that gets actually gets you into the shot. One con is that the auto-focus is a bit lacking. If you're looking for a good video lens and you're on a budget, this is it. Photos aren't bad either...

This is a great buy for the price range. Other than the plastic mount this is a great fix focal length lens especially at this price point. I'm loving mine and will keep it for a long time.

I love the blur feature of this lens. I love shooting photos outdoors and this will allow me to capture my subject not the background.
