I'm no pro but this takes pictures like ones. If you paid a good chick for your camera then buy this quality zoom. The stabilization is great and am glad this has it. I have no complaints with this lens.

It is amazing, but you can easily tell a difference between the lens the camera and this is indescribable. It's a must!

My new canon telephoto lens is a good quality for the price. It will bring the subjects in your view much closer to have the shot you are searching for. Easy to install and remove.

I have a 55-250 Canon lense. I bought the 70-300 thinking it would give better results. It was basiclly the same. It's a good lense just not enough better than what I have to justify spending the money. Hope to buy a canon L lense in the future.

Overall, in the short time I have used it, it is proving to be a useful lens for the type of photography I do. The image stabilization is helpful for shooting without a tripod. Image quality is very good for this type of lens and the weight is not a hindrance for long term carrying on neck strap alone.

Great telephoto lens for a small form factor. Images are clear. Stabilization works well but you will want a tripod or monopod at the full zoom.

Very pleased with my camera lens. I'm getting great shots of the moon and the kids in their sports I couldn't get with the standard lens that comes with the DSLR packages.

Very glad I bought this lens over the other least expensive ones. I was able to get this at a great bundle price. The image stablizer is super!!

good for long distance. mountains, sunsets.. downtowns and it depends on how you use it, if your a pro, im sure you'll know when and where to use it. as a semi pro like me.. explore it very well

its great lens along with any canon camera as it provides great zoom specially in mountains and falls where u want to capture far objects

This is a great lens for all sports events to zoom in close to get clear pictures.

Have only been able to use this lens locally, with great results. Leaving soon for a vacation in the mountains. Plan to get some really great shots from the mountaintops.

It's a bit heavy to carry around, however the lense focuses sharply and with minimal aberrations

I have been thoroughly enjoying my new Telephoto lense. I am so ready to purchase my next lense which is a macro lense. Up close is just as important than far away.

This lens is fantastic, just wish I had it a couple months earlier when on vacation in Alaska. Really like the way I'm able to lock and secure the lens while in storage

It's been around for awhile but it is a nice lens. The newer model is being released soon but with the reduced price on this one.... couldn't pass it up.
