Works great for the price. Perfect for novice. Love it.

This is a great starter wide angle lens. It works great as long as you have enough light. I bought it when I was first getting into photography and did not understand the aperature vs light requirements. For the price it is a great starter wide angle lens, but make sure to plan on using it when there is alot of light.

Good quality lens without a huge price tag. There are faster lenses out there but we have not found a situation yet where that's been an issue. Added to our 18-135 and 70-300. Very happy with the choice.

This lens is great for real estate photos. It also works really good when doing group photos like high school team photos, and a great every day lens. It’s also does well when used to record home videos where you want to include more in your shot.

This is a great lens for beginners and people looking to do landscape or architecture photography. Give this inexpensive lens a try before investing in one of the bigger, more expensive options.

As a life long photo enthusiast but only a recent DSLR user I wanted a wide angle lens to shoot some interiors for my company without breaking the bank. This is a great starter wide angle lens.

seriously, most ultra wide lenses do not have image stabilization. seriously, its not a crazy big deal when shooting so wide. however, this is like the cheapest possible ultra wide angle lens. I think you can get the pack with the 50mm like super cheap. just go do it. quiet stm motors, cool perspectives.

The picture quality is great, best value for the price

I bought this lens in hopes that I would get very good landscape pictures. In all the reviews I read, this was "the lens" to get for wide angle shots. Because I am such a beginner, this lens was too professional for me and I didn't think I would get the use out of it that I should so I exchanged it for the standard 50mm cannon f1.8 lens.
