Good for taking photos in small spaces, but picture quality not as good as expected

A wide-angle lens with a plastic barrel and polycarbonate mount for cropped sensor cameras. The lens comes with image stabilization and a quiet auto focus. It’s lightweight, affordable and performs well. Obviously, this lens is ideal for wide open scenes like landscape, but also great for tight spaces like the interior of a house. Some flares and reflections, distortion of recognizable shapes near the edges of the frame, and vignetting (light falloff/ corner darkening) are problems not specific to this lens, but pretty much all wide angle lenses. Overall, the EF-S10-18mm F4.5-5.6 IS STM performs well concerning these issues. Photographers interested in buying the EF-S10-18mm F4.5-5.6 IS STM might want to consider buying the bundle of this lens and the EF 50mm f/1.8 STM. That way, you basically get the EF 50mm f/1.8 STM for just $70.

Depth of focus was good. A higher F stop would make a big difference but for the money this does what I need it to
