I researched camera lenses for my wife (a real estate agent) to take pictures of interior rooms and a wide angled lense was recommended as a must for agents. This lense allows her to take pictures that show the most of the room with a single shot. And, this lense was hundreds of dollars cheaper than other wide angle lenses.

I purchased this lens after reading a number of reviews and watching many youtube videos. I purchased this from a local bestbuy and was able to hook it up to my Canon 80D almost right away. Compared to my 18-135mm lens that came with the video creator kit, the field of view with this lens was so much wider. It was also great in that I did not have to hold the camera so far away from me to fit in the frame. I can hold the camera relatively close to my face and still fit in the frame. The only reason I did give this 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is plastic. The lens that is a step above has a metal ring to mount it to the body, but it is also double the price. It doesn't affect the lens whatsoever having a plastic mount especially if you take care of your gear, but accidents do happen. Overall, good lens for vlogging.

I purchased this lens for my daughter this Christmas after reading many of the reviews. This lens is worth all the praise. It is a truly amazing lens for this price. We looked at 2 top competitors with higher price tags but decided on this lens over the others because of the focal range, image stabilization and the internal chip that syncs automatically with the Cannon cameras.

The lens is perfect when hiking, lightweight, and does not take up much room. Takes sharp pictures.

This lens is awesome for taking real estate listing photos. I do not know a single thing about photography, but taking photos with this lens made my listing photos look like they were professionally done. I would highly recommend this lens for anyone in real estate that wants high quality photos of their listing.

I have been using the 18-55 kit lens that came with my canon t6. This is a lot wider lens great for many locatons or effects and the clarity blows the kit lens away no question about it

This lens has awesome wide angle perception but lacks any zoom. Quality is amazing and it's great for sports!
