24mm f2.8 thats light as a feather? yeah sign me up. It was like $125 or something so it didn't hurt to try. I honestly just liked it for events where I didn't want to carry my whole bag around. it kept things light, managed well in lower light situations, and is quiet with the stm motor. I think you might as well have this tiny little lens in your bag just to save weight from time to time or pop it on when you're letting someone else use your camera.

It's great for nighttime photos, and landscapes, etc, etc, but for the price you can't go wrong. Get one and keep it in your bag.

For the price and convenience, this pancake lens is a good choice. This and the 44-2 are my 2 new favorites.

I needed this lens a LONG time ago. I have several macro lenses (I love to take close ups) and 2 lens for landscape shooting. I forgot to invest in an all around use lens. I found myself swapping out the lens several times during the course of one shoot, and JUST recently found that to be absolutely RIDICULOUS! I put it on my camera as soon as it was delivered!! Does just what you need for candid shots.

This small lens is really great to shoot with in crowded area and/or travel from its size and focal length. For the size, the lens isn’t heavy and the aperture make for quick shooting in any situation.

This lens surprised me right from the start...fast focusing, nearly silent, and incredibly sharp! I actually use this lens on an adapter and my Fuji X-T3, and it’s even faster at acquiring sharp focus than some of my native Fuji lenses. While I wish it was a faster aperture (such as f/2 or f/1.8), I know the price tag would be significantly higher. Awesome all around wide angle lens that’s very versatile!

This is a good lens for Sharp pictures and great background blur(boken). A pretty good price too.

The Canon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM Standard Lens for Canon APS-C Cameras is an excellent lens for portrait, close-ups and wider angle distance shots. It is also a very lightweight and unobtrusive lens, so it is much easier to carry your DSLR around and use it on a regular basis. I highly recommend this inexpensive, but high quality lens from Canon!
