This pancake lens is great. I took it in a trip to Iceland to capture pictures of the northern lights and it was fantastic but I was foolish and did not account for the wind knocking over my tripod and smashing the lens less than a week after I got it. I'd definitely recommend the lens, though.

4.5 Excellent value. Easy to stow. For the price, an outstanding lens though overall sharpness lacks compared to the options twice and three times the cost.

If you have any of Canon's crop sensor cameras this is a must have. Great for street photography. It is an equivalent to 36mm if it was compared to full frame. Sharp and light.

Excellent lens. Has great sharpness and color saturation. It's lightweight and provides a wide angle of view. Very compact so it doesn't hit against anything. Only downside is it is ef-S lens so it only fits crop sensors.

If you're looking for a portrait lens to take sharp pictures this is the one for you. Because the lens does not have an adjustable range, it takes Sharper pictures. This is my go to Lens for close-up headshots.

I have a canon 80D and I have a 50mm 1.8 lens. I bought the 24mm lens to get wider shots. It’s great for the price and is pretty sharp too.

I purchased this lens to be able to get a wider view without losing objects in the far sides. This lens worked great! Haven't been able to use it for milky way photography yet but that will come.

I own canon 70D. I was looking for a good prime lense. This one fits my budget and does an excellent job. I am pressed by the quality of pictures. F goes from 2.8 to 22; no zoom (prime lens); auto focus

Very small lens but very sharp for the price perfect for getting a decent field of view without feeling too wide. Plasticy build but you won’t notice because it’s so small and most likely will be paired with the T line or SL line so it’s higher quality than those.
