Excellent lens at a good price

I have not noticed any aberrations or lens distortion. The aperture is sufficiently wide to perform well in moderately lit situations. The lens focuses quickly and is generally quieter than a similar USM lens that I have. I have also since found that I am using it more on with photography as well even though I purchased it primarily for video use.
