Decent lens but haven't fully tested yet.

Wanted a wide angle prime that was also decently fast (f2.8). I have used this lens at its extremes, both f2.8 and f22 and have gotten mixed results. Photo clarity seems more consistent in the mid exposures (f8). I believe performance will improve as I get a chance to work with the lens more. NOTE: This is an EF-S lens which is intended for Canon cameras with a APS-C sensor and NOT full size. Is compatible with all Rebels and select other bodies.

great for travel

Cannon Qaulity

Got this to go with my new camera. Been having a lot of fun taking various up close and far away shots with the various lenses. Reminds me of the fun I had using my OG cannon rebel when we actually used film
