Great consumer lens for low light photography.

I shoot both dawn/dusk scenics & inside shots. While much less expensive than the Canon EF lenses, I'm pleased with the optics.

Sharp,light weight

However i am not satified completely since its not really wide angle as i thought. Its good for specific category like street photography ,but definitely not an all rounder. If you already have a kit lens , i wont recommend this. I used a 50 mm earlier and felt its much better for my use.

Great Take Anywhere Lens!

Ok lens

Was not bery satisfied with the feel of the focus in manual mode because ot feels like it is rubbing. I read online that this was ok. I just did not like it and felt like poor quality. Image wise it was ok. The 2.8 f stop was great. Overall you get what younpay for.
