Lens to play with

I find myself using other lenses I can count on instead. My 80D is constantly adjusting, it's never truly happy when this lens is connected. It recognizes it, and has been calibrated, but it's always searching for focus. I need AF due to my vision issues, so manual doesn't work for me personally. I've achieved some great pics with it, but it took a little more effort. The constant focusing gives me anxiety that I'm not getting the shot.
