Nice photos but quite loud

It seems to have trouble at times with the auto focus...and it is very loud! Very pronounced noise during auto focus that pretty much ruins videos...even with normal subject and background noise. Maybe I got a dud lens...bought it right before vacation and it is past the return period. I would recommend buyers try this lens with video before the return period ends and decide if the results are acceptable.

Good, but not great
