24mm is a very useful focal length on APS-C, and this lens is great for it's small size

I wanted a wide angle lens that wouldn’t be too bulky for a trip I was taking and this was perfect. Works great and picture quality is very nice.

This lens is simple. It's best use is for travel because it is so lightweight, compared to a zoom lens like the 18-135mm. And you get the lower f stop of a prime lens. I gave it a 4 star because compared to other Canon STM lenses I have, it's a bit noisier when focusing.

Well constructed and lightweight. The field of view is wider than other lenses. After printing I can evaluate of the quality is better. Seems a good value so far.

As a beginner - this lens is really helpful. I am able to get up close and personal with my items and it really makes for better photos to post.

I love my new canon 24 mm lens. It's proven to take sharp photos with wonderful depth of field. It focuses well in low light conditions. ( I haven't used it at night yet but that's my next project.) The focus is quiet as well, making it nice to use indoors for moments where you don't want to hear the mechanism working. All in all, it's been a great addition to my Sl1 making it weigh next to nothing!

This lens is good on the go. It is lightweight, and easy to carry. It is especially good if you like prime lenses.

Seems like a decent quality lens. Wanted a lens for some wider shots and this should work fine.

Very small, light weight lens with a fast 2.8 lens. Makes a great camera lens combination to carry around. Quality of pictures is excellent.

Bought the lens for shooting Aurora pictures. Has been great. Liked it enough to take on vacation for landscape shots. Loving it.

I loves this lens. It's not as sharp as my 50mm but on a cropped sensor camera like my Canon t5i, the 50mm becomes more of a 80mm. 24mm f2.8 thats light as a feather? yeah sign me up. It was like $125 or something so it didn't hurt to try. I honestly just liked it for events where I didn't want to carry my whole bag around. it kept things light, managed well in lower light situations, and is quiet with the stm motor. I think you might as well have this tiny little lens in your bag just to save weight from time to time or pop it on when you're letting someone else use your camera.
