    This was a Christmas gift for my husband -who would spend his days with his camera if given a chance rather than with anyone else. He is delighted with the functionality of the new lens and is uber excited to give it a go on our upcoming trip to Croatia!

    Returned it the next day, thankfully unopened as it was a gift but not before being threatened with a 20% fee on a $3.5k lens. Wild.

    This is my second time to own this lens (my husband dropped the first one three years ago). I already knew this lens was a stellar performer from Canon. I purchased this lens strictly for wildlife shooting, and it's great. Would highly recommend.

    If you want a Lens with professional attributes that produces professional results this is your lens. The sharpest lens I have ever owned. Although pricey, you get what you pay for.

    Needed a lens that would allow me to shoot across a football field, this is the one. My 300mm did not get close so this is a necessary !
