Have been using this lens me for about a month. It is great, I have gotten some really good shots that with previous lenses were virtually impossilbe. Wish they would update the 28-300 to be more like this lens!

Great lens!!! Thenpicture come out amazing! Takes a little time to get used to the weight.

This lense is worth every penny I paid for it. It bridges the gap for long range photos that I have struggled with for years. I use it for both wildlife photos and action photos from stadium seats.

This is an excellent lens. I've had it on my list for quite a while and it's everything that I anticipated it would be. Canon produces some of the best lenses to go with their very fine cameras. This will be used on my 5D Mark III, a very good combination.

Love it!!!!! Amazing lens for taking sports photos I bought now I used it all the time on football games, soccer games the pictures come out amazing.

While expensive, the photos one can capture with the 100-400 are incredible. Works effortlessly (aside from its weight) and auto even under low light or moving conditions is great.

This Lens works great and although a bit weighty it is well worth the slight inconvenience! Would definitely recommend to a friend or a fellow photographer!

This is an amazing lens. I love how I’m able to get a little closer without having my move my tripod in certain situations. This is a must for your camera bag!

The new Canon EF 100-400 lens is a high quality lens much improved over it's predecessor with the cumbersome slide focus. The lens is well constructed but not excessively heavy.

This lens worked incredibly well for me. I took it out for my camping trip and I was able to take fantastic landscape photos. I highly recommend.

Purchased this lens for our trip to Africa and was so happy we did. Combined with our Cannon Mark III the pictures we obtained were incredible. Definitely worth the money!

A very nice upgrade from the previous version, this lens is fast to grab focus on moving subjects, stays locked in and has great clarity.

You have to get this lens for sports and wildlife! Great lenes also for portrait. I could not be happier, a bit costly but I will use for years, glad I got it

I love the Version II 100-400 lens! Fast, sharp focus & easy to handle. I had the Version I for a few years & decided to upgrade to this newer version for an upcoming bucket-list trip. So glad I did!

I purchased this lens to shoot soccer in bright light at outdoor venues. It was very sharp. The focal length was great for the full-size 11-a-side field. The lack of good depth of field was expected, but disappointing. In the end, that was a deal breaker for me. I returned the lens--no questions asked. What a great return policy! I'm going to try the Canon EF 300mm f/4L and see if that works better for me. Still, this is a great lens if f/4.5-5.6 works for you.
