This is the lens I use the most. The 24-70mm range is perfect for most styles of photography and that 2.8 aperture is spot-on!

Although a bit pricey, it looks good. I have not really used it. It also does not have IS like most other Canon lenses. Overall, a good product.

This is a fantastic all around prime lens! It is great as a walk around lens or vacation lens. Stays on my camera 80%of the time.

This is such an amazing lens. The focusing was so fast and precise and the lens produced sharp and high resolution images. It could be used for macro shooting as well as this lens can capture high details and close focusing. Disadvantages: No image stabilization , if you want image stabilization go for the Tamron version for $450 less. its an amazing lens too (sharp and high resolution) + 3 stops. Image stabilization will be very useful for video shooting and so low light stills without a need of tripod and higher ISOs
