Not my favorite but I like it. Bought this lens for the purpose of shooting in tight spaces and that's what I will use it for. Will continue to test this lens out as the first few images I took with it did not seem sharp due to slight camera shake. This lens is on the wider side and it is heavy in my opinion.

Great zoom lens to purchase if you are needing variety of focal lengths for photo and video content. Also the photos come out looking sharp and very detailed

I love this lens so much but I cannot have it in travel that much because it is a little bit heavy for me.

I love this lens! The only thing missing is image stabalization (IS)! I have shaky hands so sometimes you could see in my shots. If you have bad shaky hands like me than I recommend the regular 24-70 with IS. I've had tis lens for over two years and it works great with my 5d mark ii. So definately recommend.

Just received my lens and right out of the gate am not happy. I bought this lens for use in shooting events such as comic con, where the faster F/2.8 of this lens couple with IS would allow for some great shots in what is easily some of the most horrendous lighting around. However upon opening the shipping box I was dismayed to find that the lens had been shipped without ANY kind of protective material to keep it form bouncing around, thus making the lens suspect to use due to the potential for damage to the internal lenses and their alignment. In addition the box to the lens I received was not sealed, that it looked as if someone had already opened it. Furthermore I bought this lens because I originally saw that it had IS and is shocked to discover it did not, making this lens useless to me, as I do not have the luxury of a tripod or other such aid in the areas where I am shooting. Because of these things I can not recommend this lens at this time, especially for the cost. If in the future Canon adds IS to it I might revisit it, but for now this lens is not for me.

This lens has made a big improvement in my photography
