great lens, as I expected, good quality and super useful

Great lens as expected from the Cannon pro line. Compared to the Canon - EF 70-200mm f/2.8L lens we purchased last years, the pictures look great and you don't have to stand as far back to get the same frame.

I really do like this lens. The 24-70 is a big help when you don't really feel like carrying around a bag of primes. The 2.8 is good but I waited for years for Canon to release this lens with IS. It still hasn't happened even though Nikon has their version. I got tired of waiting and finally pulled the trigger. Not too much corner distortion when set wide. I heard this lens was really heavy. It's like a feather compared to my 85mm 1.2.

Bought this for our Canon 7D mark iii. We shoot outdoor photography mostly, and it is so versatile, and quick! If you are looking for a lens that can give you good zoom, yet still remain clear for the close pictures, this is the lens to have!

I use this lens on my canon 5d mkiv. 24-70mm is a good range for everyday photography. The lens is solid and the images produced are crisp. F 2.8 is useful for darker locations and getting a little bokeh in. My only complaint is the lack of image stabilization (IS). The lens costs over $1700. They could've included the feature, however it's a f 2.8 lens (as oppose to the cheaper f 4 with IS). Gave it 4 stars for quality. It's a great lens. Didn't give it 5 stars because it's pricey and it does NOT have IS.

I got this lense for my photography business and I must say things are much better. I used to have to bend over a lot and get a lot of lower back pain. With this, if is minimized since I can zoom. A great purchase!

Very happy with it overall, except that I need to buy new filters. The first lens had a bright spot on the front lens, but bb did a good job on replacing it, after 3 calls totaling 1hr though. BB doesn't have a great customer service dept compared to some much smaller companies, and I feel that I just got lucky on my 3rd try getting a knowledgeable rep that can make a decision on replacing my lens. I had the original version of this lens and it was pretty darn sharp already, but this one is even sharper, just like the 70-200 ii I had.

Great lens. This is my first L lense. The range on this 24-70 is great for portraits and landscape.
