I️ am very happy with this purchase. They let me try the lens out on my own camera in the store before buying it and I️ was sold after the first shot.

I recently had the 50mm f1.8. I decided to upgrade to the f1.4. Fast focusing and quieter. The bokeh is very nice as well.

I purchased this lens to use mostly for portraits. It takes crisp, clear shots. It has its limitations, but if it is used within those limits you will not be disappointed.

This lens replaced a damaged lens on my son's camera. He is back in business and is very pleased with this lens. It was always his "go to " lens when using his DSL.

I took a beginner photography class and the instructor recommended this lens so I decided to buy it. She referred to it as the "Nifty Fifty" and it is pretty nifty!

Bought this before my first trip to cali recently mainly for family portraits and they turned out amazing even on my old rebel camera.

Good lens, handy and lightweight at a good price. Buyer should also consider the 50 1.2, and the sigma 50 1.4 ART lens, however more expensive options.

Pros: Image quality. f1.4 bright, very sharp by f2. Cons: Not an L, but it is also not priced like an L! Very fast lens, great image quality. No issues in the last year.

This lens is a must have for anyone who enjoys taking portraits, it has everything I want and need to get my desired shots. So happy with this lens!

Purchased this lens on a recommendation from a friend who does a lot of photography for taking still portrait photos. Not disappointed.

It is a great lens. The pictures look amazing. Sometimes it can focus on a wrong subject but it still looks really great.

I really enjoy this lense. I usually use it for individuals or small groups and the pictures come out great and really cut down on my time spent editing.

Had a hard time but once you figure it out its like majic I love the images it reflects on paper using this lens
