Amazing camera lens extremely sharp quick focus and great depth of field

Oh my gosh this lens is terrific! A friend recommended this lens to me and I’m so glad she did! I felt so good about the pictures I took of my family for the first time it was one great shot after the other. The holidays are going to be more special for me with my camera at the ready. I’m so glad I finally added this lens to my collection.

Im a starting photographer . Recommend for people learning or starting. I think due to funds, I will stick with it for a while. it works amazing and my go to for every session. Love it.

The quality of this lens its simply amazing. shoots great under low light, which is the biggest plus.

This is a great lens with good bokeh at an affordable price! I also have the 85mm ultrasonic but found this one to be more versatile due to the distance you need with the 85mm. I photograph newborns and children in studio and this has been a great lens.

Really amazing product, however you need to know what you're getting and maybe some familiarizing. Initially i was less than pleased but it was because i didn't know what I had bought. Once I played around, did a bit more research and some good trial and error i was able to appreciate the entirety of the lens.

One of the best lens I own. Definitely would recommend it for those who take portrait shots.

This lens produces beautiful photographs. The background is blurred with crisp foreground images.

I'm a new bee to DSLR and I purchased this lens for my personal use. Got this at great price from Moorestown, BestBuy. The quality of pics are great and with autofocus, it works excellent. I am very pleased to own this and I would highly recommend this product from BestBuy for all beginners

Good lens for anyone that wants to portray something really close to the lens, but forget it if you want to take a picture, lets say from feet to head, it's really hard to get, because you have to calculate all the time if the image is getting blurry or not, and it just makes it really tedious. But in general the image quality is the best that you can get, a very very cool lens, the best of the best, if you are searching to take head shots only.

Amazing lens!! I love love love this lens. Without it, I wouldn't be in business. It's got sharp images and I can capture up close or families of multiple people in my shot. Favorite of all time. Great quality material as well.

This is a wonderful lens, perfect for portraiture - especially in low-light situations.

My camera came with a 18-55mm lense and I was told to get this one for better quality photos and WOW! Works great with auto or manual focus and no more blur from moving objects. The F stop being 1.4 causes it to be pricey but it's well worth it and Cannon makes excellent products.

All around a great lense really great bokeh/blur effect nice and solid built

I enjoy using my 50 1.4 it blurrs our background images really well and it’s not a whole in your pocket like the 1.2 which is 4x the amount great buy

This lens acts as though It is a prime lens for a lot less money. I was looking for a nifty fifty to complete my kit, and after reading the reviews decided upon this lens. I am not disappointed.

I've been using the kit lens for about two years but have always been reluctant to buy an expensive lens because of my small budget. But buying this lens was the best investment I've made in a long time! My pictures are much more crispy and the artist control I have with my photography makes this lens worth every penny!

Great prime lens to get that depth of field. bokeh.
