Very small lens and great build. Can have a better auto focus.

Love this lens. Of course it isn't a f1.2 but for $1,200.00 less it has clear and beautiful pictures. The lens does have a vignette type of thing to it but it looks very beautiful for the money it's worth. 6/5 stars

after all the positive reviews I've read about this lens, went ahead and purchased one for me and I didn't regret getting one for me. Started using it right away and I was so amazed at the results. Awesome lens

Add a 50mm prime lens to my arsenal of tools. Great price point and quality seems to great as well. Compact, great glass and lightweight.

I think this should be your next purchase if you just have a kit lens... the mage quality is really good...it's not the L lens but for the price is probable the best choice

This lens takes excellent shots in nearly all types of light. Would recommend this as an additional lens for amateur and professional photographers. My wife uses for portrait shots.

Great lens. I'm new to photography and this is my first lens purchased. Great blurriness and easy to use. I'm sure there are other lens that can give you better blur, but for the money, this was a solid buy.

I received some good advice from a friend regarding a fixed 50mm lens--the F/1.4 on a 50mm lens is what he told me to look for, and the pictures are fantastic (using a Canon EOS Rebel T3I).

the lens came with a problem that it wouldn't focus, i went to the local best buy and the stuff examined it and ordered me a new one, the new one works great! I'm in love with it!

Great for portraits great for low light great for video great auto focus. I mainly use this on an 80d which is a cropped sensor so it's a little tight some times, but I also use it with a 35mm film camera and it's a beast on there too. On full frame this might be the only lens you need. The only thing I wish it had would be IS. Sometimes I bust it out for some handheld video at night and my hands just aren't steady enough.

This lens does a good job getting sharp shots of flowers, landscapes, and portraits if not trying to get macro shots. So far, I am quite pleased with it.

I did a lot of research before buying this and love it. The subjects are extremely crisp and clear and it worked very well on a running toddler! I would definitely buy it again.

This lens is an amazing lens on my Canon 80D. I use it to take awesome portraits of my kids, my dog, and even family and friends. It is super fast and sharp! Buy it! You won't regret it.

The lens is perfect for capturing portrait shots. It perfectly blurs the background while focusing on the subject. Perfect for a step up from the starter lenses that come with the camera!

I have this mounted to my sony a7iii with a canon metabones adapter and its easily my favorite lens for stills. Super sharp!
