    Replaced with same 50mm that I dropped which I had for a while. This one is made in Malaysia, not Japan FYI. Still a good lens.

    I'm bought this as an event lens and overall it was good however, some of the photos came out blurry because it focused in on the wrong thing. Portraits however are easy to focus and the photos turn out great.

    purchased this about a month ago and i can't stop using it. the quality is gorgeous and it feels more ergonomically sound than the cheaper 1.8 lens. great value and does really well in low light. fairly fast.
