At more than double the 1.8 I was expecting amazing pictures but they're honesty not that much better. I feel that I've wasted 350. I can't tell the difference when comparing a picture of my 1.8 with my 1.4 .

Just okay

BUT....that only happens like maybe 50% of the time. I upgraded to the 1.2 and it was definitely worth it. If you can't afford the 50mm 1.2, go for the 1.8.
