I just started in the photography world and bought this lens after watching a WISTIA video review recommending it. It's a great beginner lens to get some training. Inexpensive and sturdy and does what it's supposed to do.

THE MOST UNDER PRICE LENS!!! I got this for my Canon m50 (adapter needed) and its a match made in heave with them two. Auto and manual focus work beautifully

This lense makes my portrait photos look like a professional took them. I wanted a lense to help me take nice photos of my kids, instead of paying a photographer every few months. This does the trick! Highly recommend it

I wanted to get a starter lens other than the lens that my camera came with, so I decided on this one. It's very great with portraits. I love the depth of field in every picture. Definitely recommend for starters.

Well worth the money, I was considering Canon's more expensive 50mm lens at first but I'm happy I went with this. This thing is great for portrait photography; great bokeh with the correct settings.

My granddaughter has focused on photography and bought herself a nice camera but couldn't afford the 50mm lens. This was a B-Day present and perfect fit...she LOVES it! She is still experimenting and VERY HAPPY!

Great portrait lens for the price. Creates a good depth of field. Only problem is soft focus on lower F-Stops.

As someone who recently got into photography (spring 2019), this is a great lens for portrait pictures. It’s not loud too, and I like how clear the picture is too!

Great lens for "pro" portrait pics. I questioned whether I really needed this or not until I purchased it. YES!! A must for portraits. With this I have taken some awesome pics of my high school senior!

I use this lens with the Canon T7i, the picture quality and the bokeh effect it produces is truly amazing. This is pretty much my default lens. Worth every penny, unless you can afford the f1.4 50mm lens.

Although I am using a crop camera the 50 fills my needs, it is like using a 80 mm, you can't beat the quality and speed for the price. Down the road it can be used in a full frame canon because it is a EF lens.
