i highly recommend this lens. took it to New York and shot senior pictures with it. i am a beginner and they look awesome. My Daughter Approved!!

My son does automotive photography and he says this lens is perfect for the job. You definitely need to buy a circular polarizer for it but other than that, he says you're good to go.

I love this lens. I use it on a T7i so it magnifies a little extra due to it being a full frame lens on a crop sensor camera. Excellent for portraits!

I will say I have been pleasantly surprised at the quality of the images I am getting from this lens. I have shot several sets of senior portraits and my clients have been very pleased

I bought this lens for my wife. She has used it to take fantastic photographs of family nature and buildings. I would recommend this lens to anybody who has a Canon camera.

This lens is great for beginners and hobbyist. Price is great especially if you have rewards to use on it. Pictures are very clear and crisp. Lens is very well built and size makes it easy to carry or fit into any bag. It takes some getting used to because it's wider than the usual kit zoom lenses that cameras usually come with. But with practice you can achieve a lot with this lens.

This is a very good lens with excellent pricing. My first use produced a clear picture with a slightly blurred background of my cat and dog lying down in the bushes.

I’m no professional but I’m tire of “editing” pics to get that bokeh look. Did some research and it shows that this lens does it in one shot. I’ve just purchased it month April 2020 and hadn’t really had much time with it yet so I can’t really say. One con about this lens is u can’t zoom in/out keep that in mind.

Great lens for a very affordable price. Easy to use

This lens is highly recommended for any new photographer or one kn a budget. It might be the cheapest canon lens but it is definitely one of the best. It made me a much better photographer because I had to move my body instead of zooming. It's also great in low light or when you want a lot of background blur. Only downfall is it's not as sharp as an L lens but for the money you can't complain
