This is a good lens to add to your kit. Great for portrates. Feels weird at first but takes great pictures.

Overall the lens is a great lens for capturing crisp photos in dim lighting. The overall downside is you have to make sure you are a good distance away from your subject to capture a full shot. Just for ease of shooting, especially indoors, i would recommend the 10-24mm instead. outside the 50mm does the trick.
