    It's a good lens that takes good pictures. I just feel limited since it is only 50mm. I would not recommend it unless you are in a studio or open space where you can move around to get the shots you want.

    I was looking for a standard autofocus lense with a small aperture that wouldn't break the bank. The kit lenses for the Canon 77D have too large an aperture to shoot low light or experiment with depth of field. This lens fit the bill perfectly. I'm going to have a lot of fun with it.
