Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the excellent lens quality, sharpness, and overall performance of the product, often highlighting its ease of use and great value. They also appreciate its ability to create good background blur and depth of field, as well as its low weight. The primary concern, however, is that the auto-focus struggles in dimmer light conditions.

This is a great lens and takes some getting used to. Very sharp, fast and works well in low light. Auto focus is tricky so will have to keep practicing.

This lens is more than enough for low light situations. It takes time getting used to the focus however its more than enough for the average single person photo

After using an off-brand 50mm, 1.8 then splurging on Canon glass, I'll never go back. Canon glass is on a totally different level and SO worth the extra pennies spent to know I have the best quality glass on my camera.

The least expensive art lens you can buy for your full frame, great for portraits in low light, however does have trouble focusing quickly when on AF

So I was taking pictures with the kit lenses that came with the camera. I noticed that I was not getting the sharp images that I wanted. I bought this lens and it changed my photography skills. I’m still a beginner but getting better shots with this lens.
