Nice light 2.8 normal lens, I use it in a dim situation and good for no flash photography

Great lens adapter for close up images of items or objects

I really love this lens. I have been getting more into photography and this was just the lens I needed and I love the detail I can get with it.

Got this to go with my new camera. Been having a lot of fun taking various up close and far away shots with the various lenses. Reminds me of the fun I had using my OG cannon rebel when we actually used film.

If you are not going to take far away shots and want to lighten up your Camera weight and size - you can take off the 18mm-55mm lense and put on this one. The only down side to this one is you cant zoom out. You will have to back up away from the object.

The nifty 50, took this to South Dakota and it helped me get some awesome pictures!

This new version of the 50mm Canon lens is faster and more quiet than the previous. It's a must have for any photographer, and at this price it's hard not to want it

I like to take good quality photos with minimal knowledge and talent. I thought this lens would give me better quality photos in low light settings. I was not used to having to move around to get the right distance from my subject. This caused me to have slightly blurry photos. I went back to the zoom lens since it's simpler and fits my needs. I'm going to recommend this lens for those with more knowledge of photography than me.

I have used this 50 mm in the past on different rigs and I can honestly say it is something all photographers should have in their collection. There is no zoom feature, but the f-stop drops to 1.8 which is an excellent choice for low light situations!

This lens was bought to replace the previous model of the same lens. One of the keys upgrades is the improvement to the auto focus which could be a major problem with the previous version. This lens is a good introduction into prime lenses at wonderful price.
