    It’s a solid lens and has STM feature have a quieter autofocus system making them more ideal for video shooters. Meanwhile, USM feature are much faster at finding focus but are slightly noisier.

    Had lens for about a month and it does as it suppose to.... give great close ups without sacrificing sharpness. The lens is light in weight so does not add heaviness to camera. Handles well.

    This lens is ok to get you by if you can't afford the 1.4 but I ended up returning it after using once. If you've used the 1.4 version you won't be able to step back to this but if you're in a pinch and need a decent, lightweight cheap lens this one works just fine.

    This is by far, my favorite portrait lens. It lives in my camera most of the time. And it’s rare that I use a different Lens. Clarity is amazing.
