My wife is very happy with this lens. Pictures are great and camera is light.

For this price, this is the best lens you can get for any Canon DSLR. Excellent glass quality, and the upgraded focus is a huge improvement from the old version. Definitely a must have lens!

Great lens for the price I use it often as a go to lense

This is one lens truly everyone should have. I was frustrated with it at first but soon I saw it for what it is: a tremendous value.

Good lense. This Lense does a great job with blurring the background.

The lens was easy to connect and should be easy to use the blur features.

I really wanted a 50mm (nifty fifty) and I decided to go for the 1.8 because it's about $1,000 "cheaper" then what I originally wanted [50mm 1.4].. and it hasn't let me down, i LOVE IT.

I bought one for me and 1 for my son. Excellent product. All I need to round out my lens needs!

We bought the lens as a Christmas gift for our daughter. She does wonderful portraits of our grand kids and for her friends. She is thrilled with what she is able to do with this lens.

If you’re on a budget and looking for a good prime lens, this will give you a lot of bang for your buck. I’ve used this for taking senior photos and the results were great! The one thing I don’t like is it’s not good with video in regards to autofocus. It loses focus easily and has a hard time regaining focus in comparison to some other lenses I have.

So far so good. Nothing bad to say about this lens. Little bit of noise while focusing but I’m not shooting video so it doesn’t bother me at all.

Great addition to add to my bag. This lens is great for portrait and close up shots. I'm a beginner with tons more to learn but I'm stoked about this little lens. Great buy!!
