Works well, I expewcted it to be noisy based on other reviews but was nearly silent when I used it. It focus searches a little when attached to extension tubes (copying old negatives), but it gets there. A sharp lens.

I’m an amateur photographer but wow- I can tell a huge difference with this lense! Very reasonably priced too- my husband bought it as a gift for me- and he found it cheaper somewhere else and they price matched!

This lens seems to be working just fine. I really don't know much about it or photography for that matter. I bought this on recommendation from a friend who shoots a lot. It was super easy to install and the few pictures I've taken look great.

This lens is a great option to have with my camera. Great for portraits. It has such a large aperture you can take pictures in low light. It's a great lens at a low price.

Decided to try out a prime lens for a T3 rebel and this lens did not disappoint. It's compact enough to leave on the camera, and the focal length is just right for close portrait shots. At f/1.8, the depth-of-field is shallow, which gives great bokeh effects!

Great bokeh, easy to use and good image quality. This is basically the lens that everyone should have on their basic kit. It can also work as macro lens if you buy a reversal ring which is pretty nice too.

Works very well with my Canon 60D. Enjoyed using it to take engagement pictures of my son & his finance. Easy to use. Clear, crisp photos.

My daughter was so happy. She is so satisfied how she can now explore and do a lot of creative shots in her camera. She thought of buying a new camera but when she learned about this lens, she gave a try. And she is loving it!

I literally bought this lens purely because of price. I also didn't have one in my Arsenal. When I finally took it out on a shoot, I was so surprised at the quality and the depth of field. The pictures had a very professional quality about them.

Its a good lens and gets the job done. It's great if you are just starting with dslr cameras.

This lens is great, and it comes at a very low price! The quality of the images are just great and i was really surprised by the price! The lens slides right on my camera and it feels great the pictures come out great! At a really low f-stop you can get great shallow backgrounds!

Everyone should own a nifty fifty! I love using this Len and use it a lot when doing portraits. The “boca” is really good with this lens. The price just adds to how amazing this lens is! Buy one….you won’t regret it!

It never fails me to b shop at BEST BUY for electronic needs. Im like a technology geek lost in a fantasy, except my pockets aren't big enough for all the purchases i could make. Couldn't have given themselves a better name. Thanks so much!

Bought this lens after watching a couple of review videos of how easy it is to use and they were absolutely correct fell in love with this lens right away and quality of pictures was improved immensely !

Aperture aperture aperture. I was so surprised at how pleasant and fun this lens is. It was recommended to me by a store employee and one day I thought why not I’ll buy it it’s only $125. Oh my goodness do I love this lens it is small and lightweight I love it because when I edit my photos I tend to zoom in dramatically on many photos that I take and when I use this lens it minimizes the amount of editing that I do since it shoots at a zoomed in position already. I love that the aperture goes down to 1.8 and I am able to achieve that desire Desired of blurred background look I am now curious at how the $300 50 millimeter lens is going to work.

This lens is on the cheaper side of Canon lenses, but it doesn't fall short. It creates a great background, and it is great for portraits. Wouldn't recommend for landscapes, but definitely creates beautiful images! Very lightweight and works great with my t6s.

The lens that is known as the Nifty Fifty lens is now the one that is attached to my camera while in the camera bag. If I need something quick, it's my goto lens. It is a good all around lens and should be one of your goto lens if on a trip.

I love this lens. It is affordable, light-weight and takes beautiful photos. Of course as a prime lens (i. e. not zoom), it has limited versatility, but I am glad that I purchased it.
