Can't say enough about this lens. Came as described without any defects.

Purchased this lense for our daughters Homecoming night photos and it was a great choice. All the pictures turned out fantastic. I'm a hobby photographer, family photos mostly and my youngest daughter's soccer events. Would highly recommend!

I am impressed with this lense! It was worth every penny. However, first consider what you want to use it for. Because it is a fixed lense, it does not zoom. You'll have to be Fred Flintstone and use your feet. The color is very rich, and the results in low light are amazing.

I purchased this lens as a backup for creative work I was doing with my Canon D6. The lens fits perfectly and performs as expected. It's well constructed and the lens is high quality.

Doesn't matter what level of.a photographer you are... you need to have one of these. It's a good all around lens... with a wide aperture. Might be a little tight field of view on a crop sensor camera... but for a little over $100 you need to have one in your kit.

This is a definite must have for your bag. It is great for portrait shots! At first it feels weird because its so zoomed in, but just know this isn't meant to replace your kit lens, just something you use to make some of your photos look great!

I'm surprised that Canon offers a fast f1.8 lens in this price range. This is my go to lens when I need to create video with a person on camera. Works beautifully with my 5d Mark II for interview videos, explainer videos, testimonials, even B-Roll shots.

This lens is a great partner for my EOS M50. Perfect for portraiture, bokeh and blurring are really good. With an aperture of 1.8 it is ideal for archieving these two effects. Excellent purchase !!-

I knew exactly what I needed from this lens, when I was going to purchase it. As always, excellent product from Canon. Might sound pricey, but you pay for the quality, and I would do so any day. Must buy for short range photos.

I am an amatuer photographer. I do family and friends pictures and other fun photo projects on the side. This is my favorite Lens to use. Pretty much my go to! Good for portrait photography. Very minimal editing needs to be done when I use this lens

For that price is good, this lens work amazing, has a lot of light and the body it´s metal. The manual focus isn't good for work fast.
